Dates: From 2:00 PM on April 27, 2017 to 6:00 PM on April 30, 2017
Hosting and Sponsoring Guild Members: $130 (plus "local" fee if applicable)
Non-Members: $155 (plus "local" fee if applicable)
Workshops: $15 each (paid in cash at the retreat, not during online registration). You can choose your workshops when you register, or can add more later (if seats are still available!). Remember that we will require payment for workshops prior to entering the room at MOD, so please only select workshops that you definitely want to take!
"Local" fee: The event pricing has been established based on an assumption that all attendees will choose to stay overnight at the hotel using the event room block. Because we incur additional fees if attendees do not stay at the hotel, we have instituted a "local" fee of $50. A limited number of "local" attendees will be allowed.
Transfer Fee: If you decide to cancel your registration we will attempt to pass your registration to someone on the wait list. If successful, you will be refunded your registration fee minus a $45 "transfer fee." If there is no one available to take your place, there will be no refund. You may NOT transfer your registration to someone else, only we are able to make the transfer and will go according to the wait list.
Lodging: Room rate is $124 + tax per night for single or double occupancy. Reservations should be made on your own (details will be provided once you complete the registration form). After making your reservation, you will be required to send us your confirmation number along with the name of your roommate (if you are sharing a room) so that we can confirm you have signed up within our room block.
Food: Food catered by the hotel is quite pricey, so we have opted to NOT include meals in the costs; however, we plan to provide tea, coffee, and some bakery items for breakfast on at least 2 of the mornings. There is a restaurant in the hotel and numerous other restaurants nearby. Please see the Location link at the top for more info about the area.
Activities: Please check the Activities page for details. We will update this page as we finalize activities. For those who have attended MOD before, you can expect similar activities.
Early Registration: Early Registration will be available on Sunday, November 13, 2016 at 6:00 PM Eastern for hosting (Philadelphia and Central Jersey MQGs) and sponsoring (Baltimore, DC, Lancaster, and North Jersey MQGs) guilds. General Registration: Standard registration will open to the general public on Sunday, November 27, 2016 at 6:00 PM Eastern. If you are a member of the participating guilds listed above, you need a separate discount code to receive discounted pricing during standard registration (different from the early bird code). During registration, you can expect to provide us with the following information, so please have it ready:
- Name and contact information
- Which workshops you would like to attend (please read descriptions before registration time)
- Which activities you are interested in (swaps, charity sewing etc.)
- Payment information (credit card)
- Yes and No questions confirming you are aware of our policies
