MOD 2020

Hey friends!

We're thrilled to announce our dates for Mid-Atlantic MOD 2020!

April 30th-May 3rd at the Doubletree Resort in Lancaster, PA (same as previous years.)

We're looking forward to seeing all of our friends from Baltimore, New Jersey, Philly, DC and Lancaster again! If you'd like your guild to be a part of this fun event again, please be sure to let your leadership know.

Watch this space for updates.

Also be sure to follow @midatlanticmod and #midatlanticmod on Instagram. If you're not on our email list, please click on the mailing list tab in the bar above to sign up.

Registration: Early registration will take place October 20, 7 PM. General registration will be November 17th, 7 PM.

Pricing:  We are still working on the final pricing details.

We do plan on offering classes again. Teachers, please consider applying. Classes are 1.5 hours long and teachers are paid cash directly from the students. If you're interested in teaching with us, please click on the instructor proposal form tab above. As we did last year, instructors will be chosen and class registration will happen after general registration is complete. Suggested topics from the 2019 evaluation include: zipper installation, free motion quilting, ruler work, hand quilting, Boro stitching,  paper piecing, working with color, quilt design, applique, sashiko, garment sewing, bag making and 6 minute circle.

After reading all of the comments from the evaluations after MOD this year, one thing was clear - you loved our sponsors! If you are a shop owner who would like to participate, or if you know of one who might like to, please get in touch with us via our Sponsors Contact page. If there's a great product out there that you'd like us to pursue (or that you'd like to pursue!) please let us know via the contact us link above.

More announcements soon!

Best,

Heather and Jess

2019 Workshop Details

We are excited to announce that the 2019 MOD workshop lineup has been finalized and is posted on the "2019 Workshops" tab above.  Take a look through the workshops before registration so you know exactly which ones you want to take.

Registration for workshops will open on Friday Feb 1 at 3:30pm. You may register any time after that, up until the retreat.

Please note that you will not pay for the class at the time of registration (it will say the ticket is free), but there is a cost of $15 (+ some workshops have a materials fee) that is payable in cash at the time you sign in for the weekend. You may not cancel after March 1 and you will not be admitted into MOD until you have paid for all the workshops you signed up for, so please have your cash handy.

Thank you SO much for all the great workshop proposals.  We really appreciate it and hope that you will consider submitting again in the future.
