As a reminder, here's how it works

  • Classes are offered on Friday and Saturday of MOD.

  • Each class has a limit of 15 students, with the exception of Brimfield Awakening's EPP, which has 20.

  • There will be no cancellations allowed after March 1st.
  • You will not be admitted to MOD until all class fees are paid for.
  • Registration for classes will open Sunday, November 7th, 7 PM eastern.
  • You are not limited in the amount of classes that you sign up for.
  • When you sign up for classes via Evenbrite, the class fee will say "Free". The classes are not free (see above!)

MOD 2022!

 That's right friends! We're back!

We've signed a contract and are ready to move forward with MOD 2022!

Our dates are Thursday, March 31 - Sunday, April 3rd.
Same location: The DoubleTree Resort in Lancaster, PA.

We're sure you have lots of questions!

Here are a few answers:

If you registered for MOD 2020 and you did not cancel your registration, consider yourself registered for MOD 2022. If you're not sure if you are registered, a separate email will go at the same time as this one, to let you know that you are registered. If you do not receive a second email, as far as we can tell, you are not registered. If you feel that you are registered, but did not receive a follow up email, please contact us at midatlanticmod@gmail.com

If you are registered but cannot make the new dates, you can request a refund through Eventbrite. We will offer full refunds (with no penalties) through May 31, 2021. After May 31, 2021, if you request a refund it will be subject to the $50 cancellation fee and will only be refunded if we fill your spot. If you cannot make the new dates, you may not transfer your registration to someone else.

Obviously we do not know yet what the health situation will be a year from now. We are making plans based on the assumption that with vaccines, the country will be much safer for travel and an event like this. (And seriously, we are dying to get together and sew just as much as you!) We have to take a financial risk to plan ahead and if you want to keep your spot, you will need to be OK with assuming that uncertainty as well.

We can't answer yet what health protocols we will have in place, but they are likely to be on the conservative side. It's possible you will need to wear a mask, show proof of vaccination, and/or provide a recent negative covid test. This may frustrate you either because you think it's too much or not enough. If you want us to hold your place, you are agreeing to abide by our policies which will be based on health guidelines at the time. If you choose not to attend because you are uncomfortable with the policies, you will only get a refund before May 31, 2021 or if we are able to fill your place.

Of course if we have to cancel/reschedule the event again (fingers crossed...no!) you will get your money refunded or transferred.

We do expect there to be some openings for MOD 2022. Once we know how many openings we have available, we will send out an email that will direct you to a quick google form to let us know you're interested in attending MOD. We will hold a lottery, based on the requests we get and the availability we have. This will most likely happen in late June/early July.

If you were scheduled to teach with us, we will be reaching out in the next few weeks. If you were scheduled to teach, and would still like to, please send us an email. If you're interested in teaching, please visit our website and fill out the form under the Instructor Proposal Form tab.

Announcements about classes, activities, hotel reservations, etc. will happen later this year, probably mid fall.

If you have any other questions, please email us at midatlanticmod@gmail.com

We can't wait to see you next year!
